The Tao Cicar wrestling club has qualified for the Regional League of the Canary Islands Government in the second category, after defeating San Bartolomé Construcciones Acosta by 12 to 10 on Thursday night, with a good turnout of fans and good refereeing by Juan Carlos Perdomo.
Before the fight began, a moment of silence was observed in memory of Juan Antonio Martín Montelongo (Toné Martín "Pollo del Puerto"), which was enlivened by a trumpeter during the act. It was also very emotional that the Board of Directors and the wrestlers of San Bartolomé wore shirts with the face of the one who for the last two years has been the mainstay of the team, an act that was applauded for many minutes by the fans present in the arena.
