Too many institutional declarations pretending new social sensibilities. Too many laws, norms, regulations and "pioneering ordinances" trying to regulate what, due to lack of economic resources and absence of structures, cannot be applied... Too many Committees, Councils, Assemblies, etc., spaces conceived for participatory decorum and citizen relief, but with zero decision-making capacity.
Numerous diagnoses and plans (local, insular, etc.) solvent, rotting in "drawers" splattered by bureaucratic negligence. Countless motions "approved by unanimous" plenary that will never have an opportunity due to cowardice and/or interested partisan conveniences. There are too many eloquent speeches that speak of equality, integration, environmental protection, accessibility, transparency, etc., when reality indicates that sufficient items are not allocated to the development of effective social policies and it is also not "interesting" to consolidate stable coordination between existing services and programs. There are too many "egos" and a critical conscience and "civic reactivation" are missing.
If we leave "everything in the hands of public administrations", then, simply, we will be lost. We always have to question our principles, be open to changes. We have to give way to a new responsibility with respect to the future, value our worth. We have, we have, we have,...
