Let these words serve as a farewell that I write to you with tears in my eyes.
Words to thank you for the opportunity to share with you these last years of work for the city, that with your enthusiasm and dedication you instilled in me the passion and love for this activity.
I look at your photos and only the countless moments shared come to my mind, in the good times and in the bad times, but especially in those times it was where you brought out your magic, you brought out your encouragement, your advice, you showed your enthusiasm and you displayed all your intelligence all with the aim that the rest of us would not be discouraged.
You never had bad answers, nor bad words and of course you never spoke badly of anyone despite everything you have had to go through, you never had a single reproach, this undoubtedly shows your greatness, an example for my teaching.
I will no longer have those long hours of conversation, of brainstorming, of the countless calls a day, now I can only be guided by the values you transmitted to me, by your teachings, but the feeling of the great void I feel at this moment is tremendous.
Your positive message, your kindness, your intelligence, your simplicity, your kindness and above all your tireless activity is undoubtedly a great treasure, a great legacy that I promise I will continue and defend until the end.
The ideas you left us will be our weapons, your fight to the end is our remedy and your enthusiasm to continue is our hope.
It would be unfair and of course you never were, not to say that to be the good man that you were it was necessary to have someone like Carla, your wife, an example of love and understanding, I must also thank her.
Now friend I say goodbye to you wishing you have the eternal rest you deserve and promising to finish your great work, in your style, with your closeness. With your support from wherever you are we will achieve it.
