Óscar Noda, mayor of Yaiza, was not only satisfied with the interest shown in the initiative, but also invited to join this initiative that aims to improve the competitiveness standards of small and medium-sized businesses in the municipality.
The project, framed in the tourism sustainability plan 'Lanzarote, the energy of the earth', aims to reach 500 companies on the island, in addition, it has a budget of 4.5 million euros, as announced by María Dolores Corujo, president of the Island Council. "We know that tourism is increasingly demanding, so we seek to improve the results of their activity by being much more competitive," said Dolores Corujo.
The Yaiza City Council is awaiting the demand that the project will receive to offer those businesses that wish to have a space to receive advice without having to travel to Arrecife.
Rafael Castellano, expert in urban planning and tourism, stressed the importance of this project, as it can address, among other issues, the reform of the business, the redesign of the corporate image or energy efficiency to save and be sustainable.
