The Titerroy Neighborhood Association has requested that all political forces "row in the same direction", which is none other than seeking an improvement and prompt solution to the deteriorated homes in the neighborhood. In this way, it has asked that they stop arguing between the Government of the Canary Islands and the City Council and try to fix the regrettable situation of these houses.
At the same time, it has demanded that "please do not deceive the neighbors in the electoral campaign, trying to confuse them with the future that these homes will have." And it is that the group has assured that there are many citizens who are "having a bad time" since in 2009 a neighbor died after the roof of his house collapsed.
"The neighbors only want to be informed of what is happening and what will happen with their homes. It must be taken into account that they are elderly neighbors and no one can take advantage of these circumstances. It is for all this that we request that all the political forces of our island unite and seek a solution to the problems of the neighbors. It is the only thing we ask, please," they have indicated.
At the same time, the neighborhood group has reported that there are neighbors who have been living with "their houses propped up and spending very bad nights for two years, for fear that another misfortune will occur." "We ask for a lot of respect and that politics not be played by deceiving the neighbors to get some votes," demanded the Titerroy Neighborhood Association.
