Titerroy does not understand how there can be "a large sinkhole" on a newly paved road and reports that a woman and a child have already fallen.

The Titerroy Neighborhood Association has reported that in recent weeks two people from the Arrecife neighborhood have fallen due to a "large pothole" on Hermanos Álvarez Quintero Street.

"A few days ago, a woman fell after tripping over the hole when leaving a supermarket," the group said. In addition, they have also indicated that a child tripped over the pothole while riding a bicycle.

The Neighborhood Association has recalled that this street was resurfaced with the Plan E works and, therefore, they do not understand that in "such a short time" there have been "this type of road collapses".

This neighborhood group has asked the mayor of Arrecife, Cándido Reguera, in a letter sent to the City Council, to "give the appropriate orders so that the condition of this street is fixed.
