The Tías City Council, governed by PSOE and Unidas Sí Podemos, welcomed this Monday 13 unemployed people from the municipality who have been hired to carry out the project Tías with sustainable development, which is financed by the Cabildo de LanzaroteThe mayor, José Juan Cruz, and the Human Resources councilor, Tomás Silvera, along with the first deputy mayor, Nicolás Saavedra, and other members of the government group received the newly hired and congratulated them on their incorporation into the labor market, "encouraging them to work as a team, always pursuing the common good".
The agreement between the Tías City Council and the Cabildo of Lanzarote regulates the procedure for the direct granting of nominated subsidies for job-creating projects like this one, which will be developed over six months and has a budget of 179,588.93 euros.
The hired people perform tasks in different departments of the town hall as administrative assistants and personnel of the Roads and Works area of the town hall.
The objective is to work on the labor reintegration of the unemployed of the municipality through contracts that provide them with professional experience and valid tools to increase the possibilities of finding work in the near future.
