The residents of San Francisco Javier will demonstrate this Wednesday, October 27, at 8:00 p.m., at the neighborhood's Sociocultural Center, in protest against the installation of a mobile phone antenna at number 9 Enrique IV street.
The neighborhood community demands that the Arrecife city council consider "as a sensitive area" the two playgrounds that are located a few meters from the mobile phone base station and demand that the capital's City Council remove "immediately" the antenna.
"Due to the fact that the City Council, presided over by the popular Cándido Reguera, refuses to dismantle a mobile phone antenna, of which the dangers to health are unknown, the residents intend to concentrate so that the capital's City Council listens, even if only for once, to the demand of the residents of San Francisco Javier", they point out in a statement.
