The member of the Socialist Group in the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Benjamín Perdomo, has responded to the information disseminated by Oswaldo Betancort in which he presumes to have launched different projects that were planned, tendered and awarded by the previous government.
The socialist councilor has referred to the different lots that Betancort has announced today and that will involve the hiring of 158 workers charged to the FDECAN funds with an amount of just over 12.5 million euros and whose purpose is the cleaning, maintenance and beautification of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
"The tender for these services was presented by Loli Corujo and her employment advisor on December 8 of last year and the award procedure ended throughout the month of May, so Oswaldo Betancort has limited himself to trying to capitalize on the work of the previous government team", Perdomo explained.
For the councilor, "this eagerness to attribute merits that do not correspond to him is pathetic. In the few days that he has been president, Oswaldo Betancort has made his priorities very clear: his salary and his image. Yes, charging at the expense of the work that the previous government team left him done."
Finally, he pointed out that anyone who wants to verify this information has at their disposal on the Cabildo website the announcement made by Corujo and has attached the link.
