The Platform of the Municipality of Haría (PMH) would consider the agreement it maintains with the Canarian Coalition in the government of the Haría City Council broken due to a matter of "disloyalty."
This has been pointed out by sources close to the party to La Voz de Lanzarote, after the "latest provocation" materialized in the absence of councilor Armando Bonilla at the inauguration of Evelia García as mayor of Haría.
In addition, this decision would be made by the PMH after the response from Migdalia Machín who warned of possible consequences after Evelia García's decision to not delegate areas to Armando Bonilla. The formation plans to gather the party's governing bodies to discuss the scope of the decision, after the "continuous breaches" by the Canarian Coalition.
It should be remembered that the beginning of the discrepancies between the Canarian Coalition and the PMH began with the nationalists' "veto" of Pepe Torres, leader of the PMH, from holding the baton of command, or even having delegated areas, in the last months of the mandate. In addition, another disagreement was seen in the vote on the addendum of La Cueva de los Verdes, in which Armando Bonilla did not respect party discipline and voted in favor along with the PSOE and Soraya Brito, who would eventually leave CC, thus moving to the group of non-attached members.
The latest discrepancy between the Canarian Coalition and the PMH was demonstrated with the closure of the Arrieta walkway, something that according to Pepe Torres "had nothing to do with the City Council", but Armando Bonila himself assured La Voz that it was the PMH who had closed it "at 1 in the morning on the eve of San Juan", statements that have made the situation unsustainable.
It is expected that the mayor will make the new distribution of areas in the coming days.
