Specifically, the works that have allowed creating a street without steps and adapting it to the new regulations on levels and ramps on public roads, concluded this Monday by the Department of Roads and Works of the City Council.

"The uniqueness of this central and small street in the nucleus of La Tiñosa lies in the fact that it connects the areas of the old Playa Blanca urbanization (where the Barracuda Shopping Center and the Los Fariones Hotel are located, among others) with the port of La Tiñosa and Playa Chica or Pila de la Barrilla", they point out from the City Council, from where they point out that "this road is very busy by the residents of this coastal nucleus of Puerto del Carmen, whose facilities and roads are half a century old".

Thus, in parallel to this work that has been completed, the City Council points out that it has "other actions in progress to achieve a more accessible municipality" and that "Playa Grande, the main beach on the coast of Puerto del Carmen, will premiere this coming summer a whole new accessibility infrastructure with new ramps and accesses, among other new services".
