The Arrecife City Council has published the provisional list of aid for school supplies, for the acquisition of textbooks, computer equipment, uniforms and sportswear, which reaches 296 students in the capital.
The Consistory informs that it has already published, since December 1, the provisional list of applications granted, denied, rejected and withdrawn, which can be consulted on the notice board of the municipal electronic headquarters. The deadline for submitting allegations to this list ends on December 10, and the City Council recalls that "it is a provisional list until the claims are resolved and the final list is made public".
“We continue with our line of work, initiated since we took office in the City Council, to support with subsidies and aid to the families of Arrecife who have to face the school expenses of their children”, says the mayor, Astrid Pérez.
A total of 167 applications have been submitted to this call for subsidies through competitive bidding, affecting a total of 296 minors. The amount to be granted, which is reflected in the list, “is based on the invoices provided prior to the submission of the application, establishing a minimum of 100 euros and a maximum of 200 per student minor”.
“This year we have allocated a budget of 120,000 euros from the Minor's Area for students in the Second Cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary and Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and Intermediate Grade cycles in publicly owned centers, in order to help reduce the bill for the current school year”, explains the head of the Minor's Area, María Jesús Tovar.
