The Cabildo of Lanzarote is putting out to tender the homogenization and improvement of the Tourist Information Office Network, an action integrated within the 2023 Sustainable Tourism Destination Plan. The initiative is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, with a budget of 388,410 euros, financed by European Union funds - Next Generation EU.
The action includes specialized design services, entertainment software development, training, as well as exhibition equipment and installation work in buildings.
The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, has highlighted that "this investment is a fundamental step in our strategy to position Lanzarote as a smart and sustainable tourist destination." "The modernization of our Information Offices is key to improving the visitor experience and optimizing tourism management," he added.
The vice president and counselor of Planning and Project Coordination, María Jesús Tovar, emphasizes the importance and necessity of keeping these services up to date to offer users quality assistance. "From the island corporation, we continuously work on modernizing platforms that promote tourism sustainability," she stresses.
Interested individuals or entities must submit their applications by Tuesday, December 2nd, through the State Contracting Platform. The opening of the economic offer will take place on Wednesday, December 17th.
