The Teguise City Council has reported this Friday the opening of the deadline for submitting applications to access subsidies in different areas. The total amount amounts to 190,000 euros. From October 25 to November 9, you can apply for these grants.
These calls for subsidies are added to those already published at the beginning of October for an amount of €453,000, aimed at sports and cultural entities, and activities related to social services, equality and the environment.
The mayor, Olivia Duque, encourages “all those people and entities that can apply for these grants to submit their applications”, and announces the intention of the City Council “is to continue opening new calls in the coming weeks to continue complying with our associations and groups that do a great job for the municipality.”
With 70,000 euros, the largest allocation is for Educational Centers and AMPAS of the municipality that are destined for complementary and extracurricular activities carried out by the centers and extracurricular projects and activities and complementary activities aimed at students and the educational community of the center carried out by the AMPAS.
With an amount of 65,000 euros, those destined for the development and maintenance of the agricultural, livestock and fishing sector are endowed, with a clear objective of supporting the primary sector of the municipality.
Finally, the Teguise City Council will designate an amount of 55,000 euros to subsidize projects aimed at Associations of the Senior Citizen Area in order to promote participation, revitalization and occupation of free time with recreational, therapeutic, physical, social and/or training activities that favor the quality of life of the elderly, the bonds of solidarity and mutual aid, autonomy and active aging.
