San Bartolomé trains 60 workers through training programs

This initiative is aimed at unemployed people who will be trained and learn to access the labor market

The Local Employment and Development Agency of the San Bartolomé City Council hosted this Friday the presentation of the three Alternating Training with Employment Programs (PFAE) in an act at the Playa Honda Civic Center. The project, which has been financed by the Canarian Employment Service, is aimed at unemployed people and aims to offer them training and learning that allows them to access the labor market.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, and the Councilor for Employment, Alma María González, attended this event, where they welcomed the students of each program and wished them a satisfactory training. In this edition, three projects were announced with which employment will be generated for a total of 60 people.

The training will take place over 11 months. In it, 15 students will carry out the activities framed in it in classrooms accredited for their use. In addition, they will be supervised by a team of 5 people.

Isidro Pérez, stressed the firm commitment of the Consistory to training and learning. “From the City Council we consider the implementation of these programs a priority in order to specialize unemployed people and provide them with access to a job”, added the mayor.

Among the projects presented in the municipality is “San Bartolomé with the people III” which is repeated for the third year. In this initiative, the students will develop socio-health services for the care of people at home, through interventions of a domestic and hygienic-personal nature.

San Bartolomé also has “Clean Facilities in San Bartolomé”, which consists of cleaning and maintaining furniture and spaces of special public interest to beautify the environment and enhance the enjoyment of the facilities.

The last project promoted in this edition is “San Bartolomé with Renewable Energies”. In this, the students will carry out basic maintenance and assembly operations for renewable energy installations.
