Mame Fernández, CC spokesperson in the Tías City Council, has a rival. Luis García has announced on Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero that he will also present his candidacy for the local secretary of the party's Committee in this municipality.
In the list, Luis García will be accompanied by Óscar Guzmán and Sandra Viñas, among others. Thus, he has assured that he wants to give a new life to the Local Committee of CC in Tías so that it carries out daily work. García is the current Secretary of Organization of the Local Committee of Tías.
This second official candidacy arises hours after Mame Fernández announced that he was going to present himself as a candidate for the local secretary of CC in Tías. Fernández is a councilor of this formation in the Consistory and acceded to the position after Pedro Calero resigned from his position in the Consistory.
Fernández assured La Voz that he was running because a group of members had asked him to. "I am running with the desire to start working for Tías the day after if elected," he said. Fernández will be accompanied in his candidacy by colleagues such as Juan Cruz, Pedro Calero and Jéssica Suárez. The election of the local committee of Tías will be held this Thursday at 8:30 p.m., in the indieras hall of Tías.
