The candidate of the Popular Party for Mayor of Tías, Pancho Hernández, has presented "a team of men and women prepared to govern the municipality" starting next May, as he stated in a statement. According to the PP, Hernández has "a balanced list, full of young people, with a technical profile, committed and knowledgeable about the reality of the municipality."

"The people who accompany me on the list are absolutely responsible, honest and very excited to be able to build a better municipality, which contributes to the development of people and citizen coexistence," defended the popular candidate.

Pancho Hernández will be accompanied as second on the list by Saray Rodríguez, current president of the New Generations of the Popular Party of Lanzarote, followed by Nerea Santana Alonso, Francisco Javier Aparicio, Yolanda García, Juan Aroa Pérez, Ramón Lorenzo Melián, Antonio Betancort, Antonio González and Amaya Alexandra. These names are followed by César Piret, Pablo Luzardo de León, Genma Melián, Azucena Rodríguez, Juan Fernando Hernández, Romina Rodríguez and Antonio Rodríguez. As alternates are Maite Corujo, Agustín Rodríguez and José Manuel Rodríguez.

According to the PP, its candidacy in Tías reflects "very clearly the important role that the woman is given in the Popular Party, with the presence of three women in the first six positions on the list." In addition, all the people who make up the electoral list of the PP of Tías live in the different towns that make up the municipality, such as Mácher, Conil, La Asomada or Puerto del Carmen.

Looking for change

"The residents want change in Tías, because they are tired of the disastrous policy that the PSOE has carried out in the last 20 years and that has left as inheritance a debt of more than 30 million euros in the Consistory," Hernández said. "From the Popular Party we are prepared to govern Tías with ideas and solutions, since the residents feel deceived and scammed by the decisions taken by the socialist mayor who has governed the municipality in all these years," he denounced.

Among the priorities of the popular candidate are the "reduction of taxes and the efficient management of economic resources." Likewise, the PP in Tías will develop energy saving plans and reduce the salaries of the councilors. "You can't keep wasting everyone's money as it has been done until now," said the popular candidate for Mayor of Tías.
