The representative of the Mixed Group in the Island Council of Lanzarote, Óscar Noda, has presented a question to the government group of the Island Council of Lanzarote regarding the sinkhole on the Los Hervideros road and its "more than unjustified delay."
For councilor Óscar Noda, it is "more than necessary for Oswaldo Betancort to explain how much longer it has to be before the Cabildo of Lanzarote, and especially Betancort himself, who promised an immediate solution two years ago, takes action on the Los Hervideros road and executes the necessary intervention to repair the sinkhole. He must give explanations, in black and white, about when the reopening of that road will take place, which is extremely important for the commercial, business, and social fabric of El Golfo in particular and Yaiza in general."
"Actions, not words," Óscar Noda continues, "Oswaldo Betancort is tired of saying in his numerous videos on his way to MTV, but on the island of Lanzarote, they are beginning to get very tired of the fact that every time Betancort opens his mouth, the price of bread goes up and that, in reality, the government of the Canarian Coalition and the Popular Party is, undoubtedly, an example of many more empty words than deeds. Mr. Betancort, the residents of El Golfo and the south of Lanzarote have been waiting for more than two years for your broken promises," Noda concludes.
