The Ministry of Defense has published 4,527 new positions for Troops and Navy personnel, corresponding to the first selection cycle of 2026. The Official State Gazette published this past January 8 the first call for access to Military Troops and Navy personnel.
In total, 3,204 for Army units, 315 of these can be requested by foreign nationals, as well as 693 for the Navy and 630 for the Air and Space ForceOf these, 261 units will be in the Canary Islands. **Army:**
- Gran Canaria: 77.
- Tenerife: 50.
- Fuerteventura: 50.
Navy:
- Gran Canaria: 36.
Air and Space Force:
- Gran Canaria: 42.
- Lanzarote: 6.
To participate in the process, interested parties must request an appointment through the Central Electronic Headquarters of the Ministry of Defense, until February 22, 2026.
