Judge Baltasar Garzón will present in Lanzarote the biography of José Saramago, written by Fernando Gómez Aguilera. The event will take place on Thursday, July 1, at 8:30 p.m., at the headquarters of the César Manrique Foundation and will also be attended by his widow, journalist Pilar del Río.
The chronological biography, entitled "José Saramago. The consistency of dreams", is an exhaustive and documented study written by Fernando Gómez Aguilera and published by the César Manrique Foundation itself.
In this way, the César Manrique Foundation wanted to honor the memory of José Saramago, a man "so loved" by this institution.
