Heat and haze will be present this weekend in Lanzarote. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has declared a yellow warning for high temperatures for this Saturday and Sunday throughout the island.
For Saturday, maximum temperatures will reach 34 degrees, mainly affecting the east, south and west slopes, as well as inland areas. The yellow warning will be activated from 10 a.m. In addition, suspended dust (haze) will have a visibility of 3,000 meters.
Regarding Sunday, Aemet maintains the yellow warning until 7:00 p.m. Maximum temperatures will reach 34 degrees, as on Saturday, and will mainly affect the east, south and west slopes, as well as inland areas. Also, suspended dust (haze) will have a visibility of 3,000 meters.
On Sunday, the wind will blow weak variable on the coasts of Lanzarote, predominating the south in the interior during the first half of the day and tending to weak variable direction at the end. In addition, the skies will be clear and slightly cloudy throughout the day.
