The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts strong northeast wind for the first part of this Saturday, February 1, when the island will be on yellow alert for wind. From the afternoon the wind will subside, although very strong gusts are not ruled out, especially in the north and exposed elevated areas of the interior until the early hours of the afternoon.
Meanwhile, cloudy intervals are expected this Saturday, with wide clearings during daylight hours and temperatures with little change (between 16 and 22 degrees). As well as a yellow warning for waves until 8:00 in the morning.
Looking ahead to Sunday, the predominance of cloudy intervals is expected, with a low probability of light rainfall in the interior of the southern slope of the island. In addition, temperatures will remain with little change (between 16 and 21 degrees). Thus, the wind will be from the northeast from moderate to strong, without ruling out that there will be locally very strong gusts on the exposed slopes.
