Two boats rescued east of Lanzarote

76 people are traveling in the two boats, including a 4-month-old girl

Salvamar has intercepted two boats with 76 people in the north of the island, near Punta del Burro, according to the Emergency Consortium.

In one of the boats, a total of 34 immigrants were traveling, all of them male, of which 32 are adults and two are unaccompanied minors.

In the second boat, 42 immigrants were traveling, including 31 men and one woman. In addition, there were also 10 unaccompanied minors on the boat, 9 men and one woman, according to reports from the Security and Emergency Consortium. 

They have been transferred to the Commercial dock where they are being attended by the Red Cross. 

Among the occupants of the boats there is a 4-month-old girl and a 17-year-old minor. According to the NGO, they have made five transfers to Molina Orosa for different pathologies
