Last Friday, June 24, the Las Arenas complex, located on the beachfront of Los Charcos Beach, in the town of Costa Teguise, was inaugurated. Paulino Rivero declared that this project is "an example of competitiveness" that also represents a boost to the construction sector without consuming land.
The event was attended by around 500 guests, including representatives of the tourism sector, businessmen, media and a significant number of politicians from the island and Gran Canaria.
The establishment has 177 rooms, will have a four-star luxury category and is called HD Beach Resort.
The operation will be carried out through its hotel chain HD Hoteles, for which a complete remodeling has been undertaken, in such a way that the works will contribute to significantly improve the quality of the tourist offer in the area and on the island in general. An establishment that will operate with the tour operator TUI for the next year and a half
The project contemplates the full integration of the hotel into the environment and the creation of a varied offer of complementary facilities and services, such as a large municipal sports area for public use that has been financed by the Group, to turn it into a benchmark establishment in the Costa Teguise area.
