The Costa Teguise Neighborhood Association (Avecost), together with the Cultural Association "Cortijo de Majo", is collecting books, through private donations, for the creation of a library for Costa Teguise.
From Avecost they emphasize that they already have a "considerable number of volumes", mainly thanks to the donations of Doctor Quiles and Antonio Cabrera "Nito".
Therefore, according to reports, Avecost met with the mayor of Teguise, Juan Pedro Hernández, to inform him of the scope of the project of said library, as well as to study its future location.
According to Avecost, the mayor promised that, before December 28, the date on which the annual assembly of said association is held, he would meet with the two organizations, "to find the possible ideal installation."
