The heat wave hitting the peninsula will reach Lanzarote from Monday

This weekend temperatures will change little, with highs on Saturday of up to 30 degrees

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) foresees a rise in temperatures in the Canary Islands and Lanzarote for next week. Specifically, up to 34 degrees could be reached in Tías on Monday and an increase in temperatures in the interior and south of the island towards Tuesday.

This weekend temperatures will change little, with highs on Saturday of up to 30 degrees and lows of 19. Meanwhile, Sunday will also remain with little change. According to the Aemet forecast, it will be at the beginning of next week when temperatures could start to be higher on the island.

Meanwhile, part of the northeastern peninsula will suffer a heat wave between this Friday and next Sunday, with temperatures of up to 40 degrees.
