The Gaida folk group celebrated this past Saturday in Tías the IV Tenderete in homage to Our Lady of La Candelaria and San Blas. The event took place in the Unión Sur society of Tías, at 9:00 p.m. For this fourth edition of the stall, Gaida had the collaboration of the Noroeste Guiense folk group, which came from the Gran Canaria municipality of Santa María de Guía.

About thirty members enlivened the stall with a varied and elegant repertoire with songs and dances from the area. For the occasion, they wore very varied and colorful clothing. The public, which packed the Unión Sur society of Tías, rewarded them with applause during the performance.

The Charco de San Ginés cultural group, led by the well-known Lanzarote folklorist Francisco Morales, also participated in this fourth edition of the stall. This group prepared a very good selection of Canarian songs typical of a stall. The public was encouraged by this recital and jumped onto the dance floor, which made it possible to imbue the performance with color and joy.

The family of the Gaida folk group, organizer of the stall, also participated with its more than thirty members. Both their music and their dances managed to encourage the public, who appreciated their performance with applause.

During the course of the stall, attendees were able to taste a Canarian enyesque based on biscuit donuts, silversides and olives. In addition, there was no shortage of local wine to cheer up the throats.

The performances lasted for a space of two hours, during which the joy and participation of the public did not wane.
