The city of Arrecife hosted the filming of a promotional spot for the summer of 2014 for El Corte Inglés this Tuesday for almost seven hours. The team started working early in the morning, around 7:00 a.m., and finished around 2:00 p.m. They only have to film at the Hotel Hesperia in Puerto Calero, after being in this town and in Famara.
In Arrecife, onlookers were able to see the Russian model Masha Philipova, known as "the bikini diva", being the star of this promotional spot. The young woman crossed El Reducto Avenue towards the beach in a swimsuit, leaving a white limousine behind. She also posed in the sand and in the surroundings of the Parque Islas Canarias.
This company has decided that Arrecife will be the setting for this spot because it was looking for "an urban space in the surroundings of a beach", something it has found in the capital of Lanzarote. To film in Arrecife, the maritime avenue had to be intermittently closed, for which the permission of the City Council and the help of the Local Police were obtained.
In addition, El Corte Inglés is also preparing its fashion catalog for this summer and the team has already filmed in Famara, in the area of the bungalows and the beach pier, as well as in Puerto Calero. They still have to shoot inside the Hotel Hesperia, where they will finish the work this Wednesday.
