The Board of Directors of the Lanzarote Teacher Training Center, the highest governing body of this institution, held on June 29, approved by acclamation an initiative to congratulate all teachers "for the effort made in the school year that is now ending, especially during the state of alarm."

"This is a symbolic gesture, which recognizes and values the work of teachers," says the CEP, from where they thank "the dedication and demonstrated ability to transfer face-to-face teaching to the online modality quite successfully, in circumstances as difficult as confinement, lack of resources or experience in distance education."

"In a very short time, teachers have had to assume and impose themselves on digital technologies with little prior mastery or even ignorance, such as video conferences, blogs, EVAGD, google classroom, digital platforms," adds the CEP, which states that it was also necessary to "overcome infrastructure problems in communications and computer equipment, all in order to continue teaching."
