The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for this Canary Islands Day long weekend summer temperatures and the presence of haze at altitude that will affect the islands starting this Friday.
For Friday, in the north and west of the island, cloudy intervals are expected with a predominance of cloudy skies in the early and late hours. Partly cloudy or clear in the rest. In addition, there will be a probability of light haze. The minimum temperatures will have little change, while the maximum temperatures will be on the rise, so they will be between 17 and 25 degrees. The wind will blow from the northwest, with breezes on the southeast coast.
As for Saturday, the skies will be partly cloudy or clear in general, with cloudy intervals. There will be haze at altitude, affecting Lanzarote and the rest of the eastern islands. Temperatures will exceed 30 degrees in the south of the island, while the minimums will be around 17. The wind will blow from the north component weak to moderate.
Regarding Sunday, partly cloudy skies are also expected in general with medium clouds and with the possibility of cloudy intervals in low areas of the north and west of Lanzarote. The temperatures will continue with little change, with maximums in the south that will exceed 30 degrees. The wind will blow moderate from the northeast.
