The influence of the new storm Ivo will bring this Thursday strong wind and bad sea conditions to Lanzarote, so the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) will reactivate the yellow warning for coastal phenomena with waves that may reach four meters in height.
This yellow warning will be activated at 3:00 p.m. this Thursday and will be extended, so far, until Friday. As for the skies, they will be cloudy although clearings will open from noon. Temperatures will not change or will rise slightly, with minimums of 16 degrees and maximums of 21.
Regarding the wind, it will blow from the moderate northeast with strong gusts in the interior areas that may reach or exceed 70 kilometers per hour. Aemet does not rule out locally very strong gusts in inland areas.
On Friday, the wind will continue to blow strong and with very strong gusts, especially in the last hours of the day.
