The board of the Santiago El Mayor Neighborhood Association of Tahíche organized a great dinner last Friday, which was attended by some 190 neighbors. After it, the citizens were able to enjoy the show of the singer Pepe Benavente, who managed to fill the court's dance floor.
These events were organized by Moncho, a young man from Tahíche who has brought a breath of fresh air to the neighborhood movement, with the hope of achieving the unity of all the neighbors. For this reason, he called the dinner, in which the neighbors tasted a varied menu.
With a good atmosphere throughout the night, a more than pleasant evening passed, which gave way to the musical performances. The young Lanzarote singer-songwriter Julio presented the public with three musical themes. Subsequently, the dances began with the songs of yesterday and today.
The performance of Pepe Benavente was one of the most successful of the night. The neighbors of Tahíche did not stop singing and dancing to his songs until well into the morning.
