Maritime Rescue rescues a new boat near the coasts of Lanzarote

There were 51 people on board, including eight women

A small boat has been rescued near the island of Lanzarote, as reported by the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium.

On the boat were 51 migrants of sub-Saharan origin, 8 of them women, all adults. Upon arrival on the island of Conejera, they were transferred to the Commercial dock of Arrecife where they received health care from the Red Cross. According to the NGO, one of the men had early hypothermia and was transferred to Molina Orsoa.

With this, there are 7 boats that have arrived on the coasts of Lanzarote in the last 48 hours, with a total of 208 migrants.
