During those days, Lanzarote will be the protagonist of one of the most important youth events of the year, with the visit of more than a hundred professionals who will delve into the social model of young Canarians and their bets for the future. Alejandro Narvay, for his part, valued the importance of "holding this type of event in one of the peripheral Islands".
Regarding the La Santa Hostel, both leaders decided to initiate the procedures for its inclusion in the R.E.A.J., Spanish Network of Youth Hostels. In that sense, the island councilor stated that "recently, the General Directorate of Youth has granted a subsidy worth 26,000 euros, destined to improve the facilities of this emblematic space".
At the end of the meeting, Luis Arráez stated that he felt "very satisfied" with the predisposition and will of the General Director of Youth. "I am convinced that together we will be able to offer a wide range of opportunities for the young people of Lanzarote".
