Guatiza kicked off its festivities in honor of Santa Margarita this Thursday, July 7, with a program of celebrations that will extend until the 20th.
As in other years, the festival committee has prepared a festival where everyone can display their originality. On this occasion, attendees will have to be dressed in glasses and the most elaborate, beautiful and extravagant ones will be awarded. This year, the sixties party and the stall are also repeated.
The start of the festivities was in charge of Dolores Pérez, a "very precious" woman in Guatiza, who was a teacher in the town and who continues to return to her town whenever she can. The opening speech was held this Thursday at 9:00 p.m.
