With his characteristic beret, Fito and his Fitipaldis opened the Malpaís Festival 2010 this Friday at the Agapito Reyes Viera stadium in Altavista, with a concert in which classics such as "Por la boca vive el pez", "Me equivocaría otra vez" or "Soldadito marinero" were not lacking.
72,000 watts of sound, together with the experience of the Bilbao group, made the capital of Lanzarote vibrate to the rhythm of rock chords. Thousands of people gathered at the Agapito Reyes Viera in Altavista, in a concert that also featured La Cabra Mecánica as the opening act.
With a totally dedicated audience, Fito & Fitipaldis presented their latest album "Antes de que cuente diez" in Arrecife, closing the night with the well-known "La casa por el tejado", after going on stage three times, demanded by the thousands of attendees.
A night that, with a good taste in the mouth, kicks off the Malpaís 2010 Performing Arts Festival, which is held in Arrecife until May 22.
Malpaís 2010
After the Fito and La Cabra Mecánica concert, the festival will prepare for the arrival of Barricada on April 23, at the Arrecife Fairgrounds.
On April 30, the Malpaís Festival will take to the streets with the Voalá stage experimentation company, which will use the Charco de San Ginés as the stage for its show.
On May 6, 7 and 8 it will be the turn of the Circo Activo circus show, with a street show "where the urban landscape is transformed into an intimate space and a source of inspiration for the clown and the magic of Pep Bruno's stories."
The farewell show of this festival is scheduled for May 21 and 22 in the José Ramírez Cerdá Park, with the Elliot show and the theater company The Chanclettes.
