All Spanish households will be able to see a report on Lanzarote this Friday, thanks to a collaboration agreement that the Board of Tourism of the Cabildo has signed with the production company of the program "España Directo" that is broadcast every afternoon on TVE. Within the space called "Getaways through Spain" a report on the Island of the Volcanoes will reproduce the main attractions "from a different point of view than usual".
"España Directo" wants, with this special dedicated to Lanzarote, to reflect the reasons why the island is a tourist attraction of international interest, as well as the objectives set and achieved since its declaration as a Biosphere Reserve. Therefore, it will look for enclaves that are not so well known to the general public in order to promote a different type of tourism.
The program is also broadcast worldwide through the International Channel of TVE. For this reason, for the Tourism Councilor of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Miguel Ángel Leal, it is "a good opportunity for all of Spain to know other different aspects of the island and that can be great attractions for those tourists who are looking to know another Lanzarote. This program will be a great springboard since, thanks to its wide audience and philosophy, the image of the island will reach millions of viewers throughout Spain and the world through the International Channel of TVE".
