The Councilor of the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo,
Carlos Espino, has reported that the Mirador del Río will remain
closed to the public next Wednesday, May 28.
The closure is motivated by the filming inside of several scenes
of the film that the director Pedro Almodóvar is filming these days in
Lanzarote.
Espino has expressed his satisfaction with the choice of the tourist center
as a location for "Broken Embraces", given the invaluable tourist promotion
that it will mean for the network of Centers and for the island itself
to appear in a film by the director from La Mancha
