Covid has claimed a fourth death in Lanzarote in 24 hours. The deceased is a 70-year-old man, with previous pathologies, who was admitted to the ICU.
This is the third death that has been registered at the Molina Orosa Hospital since this Wednesday, after the death of a 77-year-old man and an 88-year-old woman who were hospitalized on the ward. In addition, in the last 24 hours the death of a 91-year-old woman who died at her home was also reported, later confirming that she was positive for Covid.
Thus, this is the most tragic day experienced since the beginning of the pandemic in Lanzarote, where the coronavirus has already left 29 deaths, 20 of them in the third wave.
