A dinghy with 56 immigrants was rescued late this Friday on the coast of Lanzarote, according to emergency services.
The boat arrived around 7:00 p.m. at the Arrecife Commercial pier, after being located near the island. 47 men, 7 women, and 2 children were traveling in the boat.
Red Cross personnel attended to the immigrants after the Civil Guard alerted them of their arrival, and although they were generally in good condition, some needed medical assistance.
