Ariel Rot will offer an intimate and acoustic concert at the Farmer's Monument

The Farmer's Monument will host on the night of this Saturday, November 6, the premiere of the new songs of the former member of Tequila and Los Rodríguez, Ariel Rot. Rot, who includes this performance in Lanzarote on his national tour, will offer an intimate and acoustic concert to present his new album, "Solo Rot", an album that aspires to the valuable Rollings Stone 2010 awards

Songs such as "Una Vida equivocada", "Papi dame la mano", "Dulce mirada" and "El primer baile de verano", will be some of the musical themes that will accompany the Themed Night Those Wonderful 80s, organized by the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, within its cultural program of autumn.

Tickets to access this concert, which includes drinks and tapas, cost 25 euros and can be purchased at the network of ticket offices of the Tourist Centers of Lanzarote, such as the Castillo de San José-MIAC and the Casa Museo Monumento al Campesino. During the afternoon of Thursday and the morning of Friday, the last 100 locations will be put on sale.

"Solo Rot"

"Solo Rot" begins with a declaration of rock intentions in full rule ("Una vida equivocada"), uses the always vibrant Latin rock to cover a hard letter ("Papi dame la mano"), opens the door to luxury pop ("Dulce mirada"), introduces classic rock ("Problemas"), plays with memories in a beautiful ballad ("El primer baile del verano"), continues to observe the street with the scalpel well sharpened ("No me dejes caer"), recreates jazz environments ("Dandy") and rock with airs of New Orleans ("Nena me enseñaste a amar")

It even resorts to a very healthy sense of humor to reflect the passage of time ("Manos expertas", "Pólvora mojada") and uses a masterful and sinuous half time to talk about possible loves ("Cuando no esperaba nada"), and closes the album with extreme sensitivity, with slight border airs in the background, while a letter from his partner Sergio Makaroff looks at the interior abyss ("Salto al vacío").

Free buses

Thanks to a collaboration agreement with the Department of Youth of the City Council of Arrecife and the EPEL, which manages the Tourist Centers to bring alternative and nocturnal leisure to the Centers, young residents in Arrecife will have a free transport service for this concert, which will depart from 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, from the Playa del Reducto area (bus station) to Mozaga (Monumento al Campesino).

In total, there will be two buses that will make these trips. At the end of the Ariel Rot concert, they will return to the Reducto area. Users of this alternative transport must previously show the entrance ticket to the concert.
