A stingray, as the manta ray is known, surprised bathers in Punta Mujeres this Sunday, who saw how the animal became trapped in one of the natural pools of the northern town.
Some got a good scare, although the animal was finally able to return to the open sea with the high tide. The manta ray is the ray fish that is most abundant in the Canary archipelago.
