Firefighters rescued two people trapped in an elevator in a building in Arrecife, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The events occurred at approximately 5:54 p.m. this Wednesday on León y Castillo street in the capital of Lanzarote.
Once alerted by the CECOES, firefighters went to the building and found that the door inside the elevator was blocked. The emergency teams cut off the power and opened the door by manipulating the safety mechanism on the upper part of the cabin.
The two people inside, "left calmly and in good health," the Security and Emergency Consortium highlighted.
