The Civil Guard of the fiscal section of the Port of Light and Las Palmas, in Gran Canaria, has arrested three individuals inside one of the ferries that connect Gran Canaria with Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. The investigation culminated inside the ship, where agents proceeded to inspect the vehicle boarded by the three detainees.
As a result of this inspection, they located several sports bags inside which they found packages of different sizes, weighing 77 kilos, inside which there was a narcotic substance that could presumably correspond to hashish.
The detainees are A.P.G., R.C.A. and F.J.C., all from Arrecife. The Armed Institute also proceeded to seize the vehicle. The alleged thieves and the seized effects were placed at the disposal of the duty court of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
