Three vehicles have been involved in an accident registered on Tuesday morning on Las Palmeras Avenue in Costa Teguise. The alert was received at about 10.45 am, when the collision occurred on this road, which has two lanes and a single direction of traffic.

As confirmed by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes), the occupants of the cars have not required medical assistance, so they have not come to move an ambulance to the place.

Those who have attended have been agents of the Local Police of Teguise and the Civil Guard, who have been responsible for carrying out the appropriate procedures and regulating traffic, as two of the crashed cars have remained on the road.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident could have occurred during an overtaking.
