The two young men arrested by the National Police and accused of attempted murder at the doors of a nightclub in Arrecife were released with charges after being brought to justice. In addition, the magistrate of the Investigating Court Number 1 of Arrecife charges them only with a crime of injury, based on the medical report, which indicates that the wound caused to the victim "was not lethal by one centimeter", according to the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands.

The two arrested, 23 and 25 years old, must appear every 15 days in court while proceedings continue and the investigation continues. As for the victim, after the attack he had to be transferred to the hospital, where he recovered after receiving 15 stitches in the neck, face and arm, according to the Police.

Several witnesses to the events told the agents that the discussion between the three had started inside the nightclub, moving minutes later to the outside of it. Once there, two of those involved attacked the third with broken glass bottles, sticking them in the neck and arm.

The police investigation allowed the identification of the two individuals, who were later located in Arrecife and arrested as alleged perpetrators of a crime of attempted murder, although the judge later reduced the charges to a crime of injury.
