The National Police arrested on Monday a young man, under age, accused of assaulting his uncle in a house in the neighborhood of La Vega, in Arrecife. The affected party suffered "several injuries", as confirmed to La Voz by this police force.

The events occurred on Monday afternoon, around 3:20 p.m., in a private home on Ortega y Gasset Street. Both the National Police and 112 received the notice and went to the scene.

SUC paramedics had to attend to two people, the alleged aggressor, a 16-year-old minor, who had minor abrasions on his hand, and another 49-year-old man, with minor injuries to the face. Both were transferred in the same ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

The National Police arrested the minor, who appeared in court on Tuesday and was placed in the custody of the Prosecutor's Office for Minors.
