The motorcycle driver who kicked a 65-year-old man in Arrecife accuses the victim of reckless driving and a presumed crime of attempted homicide.
The events date back to the week of June 7. At that time, in a video that went viral on social networks, you can see how a man kicked a man in the face in the middle of the public road.
What started as a traffic discussion ended with an aggression recorded by witnesses who were in the vicinity of the Los Geranios roundabout in Arrecife at that time.
What has been seen through the video is how, after a previous discussion that does not appear in the images, S., the motorcycle driver hit T., the car driver, with the door of his car. After that, T., a 65-year-old man, got out of the vehicle and took his mobile phone to take a picture. At that moment, the motorcycle driver tried to kick him for the first time without success, then he tried again on a second occasion, kicking him in the face, throwing T. to the ground.
According to S.'s lawyer to La Voz, her client would have been a victim of T., the car driver, moments before the recording, and accuses him of incurring in a presumed "crime of reckless driving and/or possible attempted homicide." According to his lawyer, T. allegedly tried to run over the two occupants of the motorcycle. For "this reason", according to the lawyer, S. would have "reacted in the way he did in the video", kicking the man in the face.
