The body of a truck loaded with cement blocks crashed this Thursday morning into a house and three cars on José Pereria street in Arrecife, near the Vía Medular bus station. Apparently, the incident occurred when the workers were unloading the cement blocks at a construction site located approximately 200 meters from the scene.
According to police sources, the workers did not chock the body and when relieving it of weight, it fell down the street, dragging a Renault Clio and a motorcycle along its path. Thus, both the body and the dragged car ended up colliding with a house, causing serious damage to its structure, as it collided with one of the pillars of the house.
The accident has also affected two other cars, a Hyunday and an Opel Corsa, which were parked next to the house. These two cars, like the Clio, have serious damage since part of the cement load has fallen on them.
Fortunately, and despite the spectacular nature of the event, there is no personal injury to regret, although there are serious material losses.
