An elderly woman of about 75 years old was found dead in her home this Tuesday in Arrecife, as reported by the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium. The discovery took place around 1:30 p.m. on Ana Suárez Street in the capital of Lanzarote.
It was a neighbor who alerted the emergency services that the woman was not answering and could be fallen in the home. Once notified, agents of the Local Police, an ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service and firefighters moved to the scene.
The emergency teams entered the house with keys from the neighbor and verified that the person was indeed deceased behind the door. The medical personnel confirmed her clinical death.
